Excited to Announce our Assistant Editor Joining July 1st

May 19, 2020

We've announced quite a bit of growth and exciting expansions today for the press. Not only do we have a new Reviews Editor, K Weber, but we have also welcomed on board a Social Media Editor, Isabel Rae McKenzie. You can read more about them at the links above and what they'll bring to our team at Rhythm & Bones Press! We are excited to work with them on growing our community and forging a stronger presence.

In order to do that, we decided we need help on the press side to continue bringing the highest quality of books to you as possible. We have discussed this position for some time, and taken a long time to consider who would be a proper fit. Our decision fell on someone who will not only bring an enhanced quality to the table with keen proofreading skills, but someone who has experience with our press's mission and goals, what we hope to accomplish, and who has worked closely with us to know what we seek in book quality, design, and production.

Without further ado, Welcome to Chris Mariotti, officially joining us as Assistant Editor on July 1st.

A little bit about Chris.

Chris was born in Pennsylvania but raised in Arizona, where he fell in love with the desert, monsoons, and saguaros.

His first book Scream into my Mouth as a Waterfall came out March 2020 with Rhythm & Bones Press. Currently, he’s finishing his novel, Collapse the Light into Earth

Chris lives in beautiful western Massachusetts with his wife Kristen and Westie Bella Francine.

Find him on Twitter @Lonesome_Noise.

Chris brings with him a background in professional copyediting and proofreading which is vital in spotting those key details. He offers a fresh set of eyes that will help make sure our books go to production with as little to no mistakes as possible. We are always seeking ways to improve on quality and production, and this addition to our team will allow us to do just that.

Our authors are of paramount importance to us. The stories they tell and trust in our hands deserve the very best, and we know Chris's time and attention will only improve our titles. We are so excited to work with Chris as we continue to expand and grow, and we look forward to sharing our upcoming catalogue with everyone soon!

Welcome, Chris! Here's to many more developments, creations, and books to come. Stay tuned for all the exciting things at the works here. Thanks everyone for your enduring support of our press as we live, learn, and grow!
